I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Willow Bridge Property Company (Knoxville, TN) in Aug 2013
Interview
I found the job posting on the Apartment Association of Greater Knoxville and sent a resume and cover letter to the Woodlands West Manager, which the Regional Property Manager responded and set up an interview. My interviewer was very professional and promoted the job benefits very convincingly. The office I interviewed at was very well put together, and the staff was okay. One gentleman greeted me and instructed for me to fill out an application before I met with the Regional and he was very nice and professional; the others weren't too inviting and didn't say much. When I left I said goodbye and thank you and got no response. The interview wasn't too hard

I applied in-person. I interviewed at Willow Bridge Property Company in Jan 2023
Interview
The interview was one of the best experiences ive ever had. I was asked ..."what do you see yourself doing in the future..." and I answered " I am looking forward to becoming Mananger one day" As the interview was coming to an end I was more than ready to start my Employment with Lincoln. It was just such positive vibes.
Interview for Leasing Consultant position was pretty easy. I think it was 1 or 2 phone interviews and then an interview with the Property Manager(s).
If you have prior experience in the industry it will be very simple for you.
Once you get the offer, the company will then require you to get certified to lease apartments. The exam itself costs about ~$200 and they will reimburse you when you pass. It takes a few hours of studying/online courses, and then you go to a testing center to take the final exam in person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No specific questions really stuck out to me.
Standard questions about things like: what is your prior work experience, what brought you to leasing/real estate, why do you want to work here, how do you deal with conflict resolution, etc.
It is an entry level position so I think the thing they look for the most is how you would fit with the Property Manager and the rest of the team at your specific location.
