I applied online. I interviewed at William Tan Organisation
Interview
Was told to go to a certain building in Alexandra Road where I went into a room with many other people waiting. They were all here because they applied for similar interns but under different comapnies, so you can tell they're just mass hiring. They make you fill up a form with basic info like whether you have any experience in the finance field and if your family is in this field.
Afterwards, they guide you to a 1-1 interview in a small room. Someone comes in an asks the basic questions about like why you want to enter this industry, what are you currently doing, and more information about your family. The interviewer was friendly and surface level. Then, they will tell you there are 3 rounds of interviews, and the 2nd round will be a group interview. It will be with the fellow interviewees from 'other companies' who applied under finance intern.
When asking about the job scope, they mentioned 'events planning' which is already a red flag for a finance intern. You can tell it's setting you up for being an FA, where you have to do a roadshow (event).

Question 1
Why do you want to enter this industry
What are you currently doing now
How many siblings do you have
What do your parents work as
It was bad, super clear that they're mass recruiting. Waited for quite some time with a bunch of other people and then was brought to a small room for a one to one interview. It was mainly just understanding what I'm doing at the moment and hard selling the programme.
