I had a really good experience interviewing at WidasConcepts India.
They generally conduct three rounds of interviews:
Round 1 â Technical Discussion with an Architect
The first round was taken by a technical architect. The main focus here was on how well the candidate understands the technologies mentioned in their resume. It was a very interactive session, with detailed discussions around important areas of Software Engineering.
Round 2 â CTO Round (Onsite)
The second round is usually taken by the CTO, and it requires visiting their office. The discussion here revolves around the most recent project the candidate has worked on, optimization measures that could be applied from a design perspective, and handling of edge case scenarios.
đ My advice: Stay as calm and composed as possible, they might start right off with a question and it's implementation. Take your time before answering â they are not looking for instant replies. They want you to think through the problem and come up with the best possible solutions, followed by a meaningful discussion on the implementation.
Round 3 â HR Discussion
The final round is with HR. One thing that stood out to me is that their HR is wise, warm, and welcoming. The discussion was very transparent â they were clear about what they expect and what they offer. My suggestion would be to answer every question with complete honesty. Even if you disagree on something, share your perspective openly.
They try to make the entire interview process as comfortable as possible.
P.S. They also have a really nice office space in Bengaluru (Sarjapura road).
