Team member promotions could be based off actual job performance. At the Fort Collins Whole Foods Market interviews were conducted by five members from management of various departments, many of which rarely if ever have meet or worked with you. The final hiring decision is based off whichever candidate promises the most "work", not who has consistently gone above and beyond for their team.

The interview will begin with an opening statement. From my experience if you review the job description beforehand and describe how you will preform each aspect of the role in your opening statement you will be strongly considered.
Casual chat about company goals and lifestyle choices. My interviewer was very friendly and talked about how careful they when it comes to the products they sold and learning new food every day.

Friendly, welcoming and supportive. Walked around the store and was shown where I would work and the daily task….. went back and they explained the hiring process and said they would be in touch. I received an offer letter that day.
