I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Austin, TX) in Mar 2012
Interview
Very difficult people to interview for. Certainly an air of arrogance in the room. No smiles. No patience. Certainly not the type of people that founded Whole Foods. They expect you to do quite a bit of in-store research prior to the interview. 15 minutes to tell your background, 30 minutes of vague questions being thrown at you and 15 minutes for you to wrap up why you should be hired. Not common for someone from the outside to be haired as a department manager. Invited back to interview for another position but due to the continued lack of professionalism I ultimately opted not to pursue a position with Whole Foods.

Interview
Overall a good experience, asked to do some small amount of prep work to present before a panel. Solo video interview followed by a panel interview with 4-5 leaders. I would recommend others to apply.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Houston, TX) in Feb 2025
Interview
The interview was a panel interview with other team leads. They asked multiple situational questions and how I would handle certain things. Overall straightforward if you have problem solving skills.

I applied online. I interviewed at Whole Foods Market (Jacksonville Beach, FL) in Jun 2023
Interview
Super easy interview process. They asked basic questions, like where I lived, availability, and in what area I would like to work within the store. They asked why I would be a good fit for the position, how do I respond to new project assignments, and what I had learned from one of my mentors.
