Did a coding challenge and the was called for a phone screen. The interviewer was nice, but hadn't read my resume before the phone screen and so didn't complete the phone screen.
Hi - I believe you interviewed with Ekata, not Whitepages as we have not conducted any internship interviews to date, this fall/winter. Ekata was previously a part of Whitepages, providing B2B solutions to businesses, but since June 1, 2019 has spun-off into it's own company/legal entity and I believe it was their recruiting staff you talked to.

Application
I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Whitepages (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2017
Interview
Overall my interview process at Whitepages was very good. The recruiters are incredibly friendly and responsive, and all of my interviewers were happy to answer my questions. The questions were of reasonable difficulty for the time alloted. The general process went: Online coding challenge --> Phone Screen #1 --> Phone Screen #2 --> On-site (Two 1hr interviews) --> Offer

Question 1
Without giving away question details, I would recommend reviewing dynamic programming.
I applied online. I interviewed at Whitepages (Atlanta, GA) in Oct 2017
Interview
The recruiter send me the email for code challenge using Hackerrank, it is dynamic programming question, like jump game. But I forget to check whether the input is valid. So failed the process.

Question 1
A dynamic programming question, given an array [3,2,1,5,6], you can jump 3 step in index 0, 2 step in index 1, 1 steps in index 3, 5 steps index 4, 6 steps in index 5. Decide the minimum number of jump.
Hello, and thank you for sharing your experience interviewing with us! While we didn't move forward this time around, we hope you will keep an eye out for future roles here at Whitepages.
Thanks,
Amanda
