I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at West Monroe (New York, NY)
Interview
These people are a joke, liars and unprofessional. Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn expressing interest. I go through 2 rounds of behavioral interviews with 3 different people in each round. Then it was a case study. I work late 3 nights in a row to get it done. Then they wanted another interview, then another interview. Then it was ‘Oh well there’s someone who left the firm and he might want to come back and take back the role again so sit tight’. Then it was ‘we want to make an offer but we want to make sure that you won’t be sitting on the bench’. Then it was ‘oh can you talk to one more person?’ I make myself available while I’m on vacation overseas during Christmas break to speak to two more people. Then they make a verbal offer, then they stall again and it’s ‘we just want to get approvals for the role’. Then it’s ‘oh can you talk to just one more person?’ Then they stall again and finally they come back and tell me ‘We can’t make you an offer’.
You people are unprofessional, I’m not upset that I didn’t get the role I’m upset at the countless hours of my time that you wasted. YOU approached me not the other way around! The hilarious thing is the interviews was with their “operations excellence group” ! I should’ve billed you for my time. Never again!!

Other Senior Manager interview reviews for West Monroe
As an experienced hire, I had a pre-screen call with a recruiter, which led to a (then) in-person structured interview. While the interview was successful, they did not have an immediate opening. A few months later, the recruiter called and an interview (over lunch) was setup with a Director, as a final screen for fit.

Question 1
A case interview was given, for which as being new to consulting, I was not fully prepared for.
The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at West Monroe (New York, NY)
Interview
Possibly the worst interview experience ever. Was contacted by external recruiter who had not much idea about interview stages. They did 2 phone screens - one with architect and second with hiring manager. Then was asked to prepare for full loop i.e. 4 more interviews which included a case study. Spent many hours preparing. In end I did not get offer which is understandable however there was a single line of feedback which is that you dont have BD experience and other candidate had. Are you kidding me, you cant read that from my resume or the hiring manager was not aware when he spoke with me. No one asked me about it during interviews. Spent so many hours preparing, atleast deserve a decent feedback.
