The interview process started with a phone interview with the headhunter, later had VCs with HR and the hiring manager, finally with the team and with some colleagues. Overall around 10 interviews (30' each).
Mainly motivational questions, some market awareness and portfolio contraction questions.

Everyone I interviewed with talked about “lots of change” with negative undertones.
They went with internal candidate. People were nice but didn’t get massive sense of collegiate team or socials or training.

Most interviews were straightforward and took a similar . approach across rounds. Large number of interviews enabled better assessment of potential mutual fit. Most questions not difficult. The style of most conversations was behavioral in nature.
