After completing 2 rounds of interviews (recruiter screen + hiring manager conversation), exchanging some additional follow up questions via email, and handing in a semi-technical take-home assignment, I was ghosted by the internal recruiter. No response to my follow up emails, no "sorry the position was filled" auto-generated email months later, nothing. At this point I feel like not getting an offer was a bullet dodged. I consider this grossly unprofessional behavior toward a candidate, which doesn't bode well for how they treat actual employees.
On the actual interview front, the position I applied for was a lot less technical than the one described in the interview process, and it didn't seem like they knew what they wanted. Cool product but if the hiring process is indicative of a workplace culture, it seems like a messy place to work.
