The interview process is LONG! You are first screened by a recruiter, then by the hiring manager, and then you go to the 4 “pillar” interviews where they’re interview you to see if you meet the 4 main Wayfair values. When I interviewed there were 5 candidates who were going through this whole process- which is a lot if you only have a 20% shot at the role. You do these 4 interviews in two sessions (2 and 2) & they are 45 minutes each with a 15 minute gap in between. You also meet with their internal recruiter before and after these 4 interviews. Then for me they narrowed it down to 2 candidates and I had one more interview with the direct hiring manager. After that they recruiter strung me along for 3 weeks saying the team still hadn’t decided, but ultimately they chose the other candidate. I have a feeling they strung me along as a back up in case the other candidate rejected the offer or bailed last minute, so keep that in mind!
