I applied online. I interviewed at Watershed in May 2026
Interview
It was a fairly standard interview process. I first had a basic introductory call with the recruiter where we went over my resume, background, and general fit for the role. After that, I had a technical interview that lasted roughly 30 minutes. Overall, the process felt very typical and straightforward.
I completed several rounds of interviews, including an initial phone screening with Human Resources, a technical interview with members of the sustainability team, and a final interview with senior leadership.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you help a commercial real estate client develop a decarbonization strategy to reduce energy consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, and comply with evolving sustainability regulations?
As expected interview process, plenty to do and many questions to answer, but it wasn't particularly difficult or challenging. A lot of blue sky thinking required in terms of ambiguity and style of questions. Not too challengin but not a walk in the part either.
