Very long interview process, especially for a civilian position but considering its for a law enforcement agency that is state run, you have to accept that. From time I submitted my application to when I heard back following their end decision was 4 months. It took about 6 weeks after submitting my resume/cover letter on the website to get an email that I was selected for an interview. Another 4 weeks till my polygraph and then another 2-3 weeks for the retired trooper to complete my background investigation. Following the submission of my background investigation, I didn't hear the final selection for another 6 weeks.
