Applied online, received an email to schedule interview, and scheduled interview on careers.wa.gov profile. Interview lasted about 45 mins. They called me a week and a half later and offered me the job.

Question 1
Interview questions were very specific to the job description. Very few typical interview questions. Questions were mostly about experience in the field... of which I had very little.

Interview
Communication was pretty good, via phone primarily. Two panel interviews before offered position. Both panels had four people. The first was division employees and managers. The second was all managers. They did call my previous employer when I had asked them not to. Luckily I was offered the position because my previous employer, while they gave me a good reference, was not very happy.
