I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Glendale, CA) in May 2013
Interview
Very lengthy with many steps. Automated testing and survey, followed by several levels of interview. The lower levels were not very useful, I felt that there was little substance until later. Not as grueling as some organizations, but they definitely want highly capable people. I did like the upbeat tone of the whole thing, and got a sense that they were all very proud of the organization. It was interesting to see some division's accolades, such as motion picture and tv production and feature animation.

I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Celebration, FL)
Interview
I applied and contacted the hiring manager through LinkedIn. She had the recruiter set up an initial call which ended up being in two parts on two different days because she wanted time to really get to know me. I did not end up getting the job but that experience was amazing.

I applied online. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Glendale, CA) in Mar 2025
Interview
The process is long and inefficient, including several rounds of interviews. The recruiter is not responsive. The process is not professional. I was the finalist, and the recruiter rejected me with a very generic email, not even a phone call.
To a candidate who spent time and effort, the experience was disappointing.
