I interviewed at Walmart (San Francisco, CA)

      Interview

Drove into the office for the interview. Met with 2 juniors and the hiring manager. Basic questions. No tests. Basically a personality fit assessment. Discussed the position a bit but pretty straightforward.

      Marketing Manager Interview

      Anonymous interview candidate

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart in Apr 2024

      Interview

Recruiters can’t be bothered to speak with candidates it seems… after bots likely select people, they actually tell experienced (not entry level) candidates to go to a website and record videos of themselves + write mini essay question answers as an interview with your computer screen. It’s completely impersonal and lazy. And then after you get rejected from {a pretty extensive} interview with the hiring manager, they are unable to provide any actual feedback and just copy/paste emails without even deleting the part that isn’t relevant to you. Why even have recruiters? What part are they doing?
