I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (New York, NY) in Jul 2015
Interview
Got called in after 2 days after applying. They basically called me on the phone and told me what shifts I would be doing and when I'm available to do an interview. I only had one interview where it involved scenario questions, since I had no related work experience, I use to school and life experiences. I signed paper work & was given a lab form to complete a drug test. It was a simple process.

Question 1
Describe a time when you handled a small problem from getting bigger.
Easy to accomplish and not very difficult. Seemed if you used common sense you’ll be okay. Just be yourself and go in there prepared. Good luck! I didn’t get an offer but I was fine with that.
Fairly easy. Multiple rounds. Just have positive attitude. They’ll do an initial round. And then you meet with 2 other supervisors on 2 different occasions. They just want to make sure you will be friendly to customers and be able to listen and follow directions
The interview was fine but you definitely get the big box store vibe. It was a bit rushed through, I could tell the manager was going through the motions but I also don’t necessarily expect anything more.
