I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2018
Interview
The first interview was a phone interview where the hiring manager asked a few questions specific to the job and then scheduled an in person interview. The in person interview turned out to be a group interview where they tested our ability to work with people we did not know and if we could quickly adapt to the situation.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Walmart (St. Catharines, ON) in May 2023
Interview
I applied for a different position in Walmart upon returning from may leave. Multiple issues. One the manager kept saying “but you have kids” even to other staff despite my being more then qualified. Every time I have interviewed even just to move to FT over the past FIVE years I have been denied because our store manager just doesn’t like me. I d add m constantly abused and used to fill departments I was never officially trained for. Upon my return I also was not returned to my job and my ROP is currently UNDER min wage. Along with that I have not been nor will be scheduled til June 17th despite my activation being first week of may. Store 3088 needs to be looked into. One asm has been there nearly 20 years. And the store manager has been there like 7. I thought they have to rotate after 5? Insane amounts of nepotism happen in this store along with coach backs happening on the floor with other staff present. This store is by far the most toxic.
