I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walmart (San Antonio, TX) in Jan 2009
Interview
Management is disorganized and pulls interviews on a mass scale in an attempt to get as many potential hires in the door as possible. Passing the interviews is common sense, followed by the standard drug test. After the interview, associates typically go through an orientation process during which they are brainwashed into company policies (which are never upheld when they benefit the employee).
There was a lot of questions but overall it went pretty decent. They were your standard interview questions. I am happy with the outcome but maybe I could do better next time.
Solid and very well informative process. It was straightforward and well put together. I really enjoyed the people that I interacted with and ultimately chose another route due to time constraints.
The interview was brief but straight forward. I interviewed with someone and was done within 15 minutes. They asked a few questions about myself and past job experience. Then I progressed to the next steps in the hiring process. The next steps where orientation.
