      Overnight Receiving Associate Interview

      15 May 2013
      Anonymous employee
      Joplin, MO
      Accepted offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Joplin, MO) in Mar 2011

      Interview

The first step is they run a background check on you and then check your references. When you are contacted for an interview you will actually take part in two. One interview with a lower ranking manager then another with an assistant manager. If they like you, you will be sent for a drug test. If you pass, then you're hired.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

There weren't really difficult questions. The hardest would be they give you situations and you have to tell them what you would do in those situations.

      5 Oct 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Shawano, WI
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Walmart (Shawano, WI) in May 2013

      Interview

Walmart was one of my first jobs and one of the best interview experiences I had. There is nothing to worry about, the questions they ask are basic and straight-forward. In one day you will have two interviews with two supervisors, and they ask the same questions. The second interviewer told me I was hired.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The first interviewer was an assistant manager and he wanted me to answer the questions step by step because each question is a set of questions combined. The second interviewer just listened to my answers and didn't seem to care what my answers were.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Dallas, TX) in Aug 2011

      Interview

Interview process is very simple and straight forward. I submitted an online application which took only a few days to hear something back. I was contacted by HR to set up a in person interview with the assistant manager. The manager asked usual interview questions (What would you do) type scenarios.
