      Sr. Director of Marketing Interview

      9 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I interviewed at Walmart (Los Angeles, CA)

      Interview

Recruiter was very aggressive and responsive in setting things up for initial interview (HR screening) first and second rounds, then ghosted me with 0 follow ups for 2 months before sending an automated reply about the job going to someone else. They are quite arrogant that they are Walmart, and you are a peon who would be lucky to work there, so you do things there way or not at all.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked hyper-specific pop culture questions and how it pertained to their business, i.e. which specific celebrities they should partner with and why.
