Interview
Part of 20-person cohort, was selected from several developers and interviewed by zoom by two developers who alternated questions about data structures and web front end design. Was about 45 minutes long.
It starts with some basic Java/Springboot/Kafka (producer and consumer etc.) questions, and then use Google docs to write 3 Leetcode questions(Easy to Medium) about String and HashMaps. Took around 40 mins.

I passed all the interviews only to be told at the end that they didn't have the budget. It took about 2 months. It was probably delayed because of budgeting issues.

My interview began with an introductory call with the hiring manager, followed by a technical round led by an engineering lead, who probed system design, coding approach, and problem-solving communication.
