Recruiter reached out to me to set up an online meeting. First meeting involved talking about the job description, clarifying a salary of 35,000 before giving a take-home assessment to be completed within 7 days

interview on background/motivations/questions on put and call options ➔ take home test in python ➔ onsite review of take home test + final interview. A recruited reached out to me advertising this role. There was meant to be 3 stages to the process. Unfortunately, there were long delays (weeks) between each stage. After the final stage, I received a verbal offer but no written offer. After a month, the recruiter informed me of another interview stage due to restructuring. I was then rejected after this stage even though that was my best interview with no feedback. I wasted 5 months.

basic motivational/ background and competency questions in the first interview (some of these are repeated in the final interview). technical questions concerning the take home task in the final interview.
Was given a coding task to complete within a week, then had a final interview. The final interview was 4 people on teams. They went over the cv information then asked me about finance knowledge and then asked me about the code I submitted.
Many weeks have gone by and I didn’t even get a rejection email, I’ve just been ghosted which I think is quite unfair.
