I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (West Chester, OH) in Apr 2009
Interview
Initially, there is a very comprehensive online screening tool that you are asked to complete and return. Phone screen came next, then an in-person interview w/ Reg Ops Mgr & TA Mgr. The behavior interview questions asked were too general for someone with years of experience.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time when you didn’t follow policy or had to deviate from policy.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens (Woodland, CA) in Apr 2023
Interview
First the interviewees didn’t have camera on. That’s a first turn off. To try to relate about being in the service was uncalled for. They already had the candidate internally in mind. To go through interviews was pointless. They were kind of friendly everything g else were horrible stay away from woodland distribution center. The recruiter even called to see if I would take the position they would be coming out of. Not to mention is crazy.
There was no personal interaction. The interview is recorded and the questions auto populate. It was horribly awkward as you had to watch yourself answer the questions. You never interacted with a person.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walgreens
Interview
Long delay in initial contact from recruiter. Phone screen is initial step. Then several panel interviews (with people from different parts of the organization). Process is lengthy, but each step does give you the opportunity to discuss your experience with more people, which I believe helps the candidate determine if the company is a good fit for them.
