I interviewed at WIN Waste Innovations (Eliot, ME)
Interview
I was called in for an interview. They were nice, and the interview wasn't long. Pretty simple, just be professional. As long as your professional, you should get the opportunity to get the job.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at WIN Waste Innovations (Portsmouth, NH) in May 2025
Interview
This was probably the worst interview process I have been through. At first, I applied for a different position within the company and did a phone screening and set up an in person interview which day of ~2 hours prior found out they had offered the job to someone else. So then I applied to this position and heard from them that they wanted to offer me an interview (skipped the phone screening this time) with the HR director for 30 minutes on Zoom. Then was offered an in person interview with two of the current team members for an hour and then another interview with two other members of the HR department via Zoom. In total, four interviews which spanned about a month to a month and a half. Not only was the interview process long but after the final interview I received a call from the in-house recruiter who said "Good news! They're changing the role to a lead role so more money, are you still interested?" At the time, I asked for the role information, which took a week to get and then didn't hear back from them for two weeks. Finally, when I did after I sent multiple emails to the recruiter and asked for clarification to learn that no other applicants wanted to move forward with the role and so they did not have "many applicants in the pipeline" so they were posting and looking for new people to "compare me to". This went on for two months and after one really frustrating conversation where I just asked for transparency and updates, I never heard from them again but saw on their website that the position had been filled. Waste of my time and truly disrespectful.

It was smooth and very well organized. Recruiter was friendly and the communication was top notch. Keeping candidates informed about the status of their application, providing feedback promptly, and responding to inquiries quickly demonstrates respect for their time and keeps them engaged.
