Question 1
How does your college major relate to the position your applying for?
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Von Maur (Omaha, NE) in Aug 2013
Interview
They asked about what I did at my previous job. Almost every question was a scenario question about my previous experience. Then, towards the end they asked about my availability and preferred hours. They also asked me what department I was interested in working in, which, luckily, I ended up getting placed in when they offered me the job.

Question 1
At your previous job, what was a challenging situation you had to deal with and how did you deal with it?
I applied online. I interviewed at Von Maur (Fort Wayne, IN) in Dec 2015
Interview
Interviewed twice at the Jefferson Pointe, Fort Wayne, IN location - both times I was called and asked to come in that day. I assumed after the second interview and how well it went, that I would hear a call back. Nothing - not even a "sorry." Very unprofessional.

Question 1
What they could do to make me want to work at Von Maur full-time.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Von Maur
Interview
Moderately difficult interview. Questions about past experience in retail employment, so if this is your first job that you're interviewing for, difficulty level of questions is relatively high. Friendly staff but not incredibly prompt (at least at my nearest location.. They were nearly 40 minutes late for the in person interview).
