Interview with recruiter over the phone. Good conversation, and the recruiter worked hard to "sell" the company as well as the role. I was a little taken aback by their apparent practice to pay their new hires a reduced salary during the training period. I would advise them to abandon such practice, as it definitely comes across as predatory.
Interview with the hiring manager over web call. Went okay, but not terribly pleasant as interviewer seemed to be in a bad mood, annoyed by questions, etc.
It was clear we were not a good fit and I was not surprised we did not proceed any further. Nevertheless their mission is an important one, and I wish them great success in finding the right hire going forward.
