I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VoIP (Australia) (Sydney)
Interview
Applied for role which was advertise as private advertiser.
A Lady called me from North Point Recruitment on behalf of VoIP - Normal phone interview, also discuss about salary expectations and she said it is with in her client budge - all went well. Next day she called to arrange time for skype interview. We arranged time for next day.
On skype interview she asked few questions like... which country i was born, since when i am living in Australia, what is my age, If i have kids, If i have girl friend or married - i don't see these question are relevant in any way. I have been working in corporate world for over 10 years and never asked these type of personal questions. She again confirmed my salary expectations (Which is ok with me).
Only question she should have asked - If I am Australian citizen or permanent resident.
Now She set time for me at her client's place, I went to VoIP - met with 2 managers and they took interview for 75 minutes. Next day Lady from recruitment called me and told me her client was impressed and asked me for 2nd interview. I said - ok, I'll go, she said she will arrange time for me.
She did not arrange time for 2nd interview for almost 2 weeks. After 2 weeks she called and said her client went with someone else... as my salary expectation was higher. Now this is another issue. I have already told my salary expectation during our first conversation.
Overall, It was way poor experience.

I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at VoIP (Australia) in Mar 2016
Interview
Responded to a "Private Advertiser" position but from the description had already guessed who it was, was contacted by their Sydney based external recruiter a few days later who sounded like she might have been the MD's Mom.
Basic chit chat about my CV/background but nothing really sales related or relevant to the role, the interviewer seemed more interested in telling me where she was staying during her business trip to Melbourne, said she would get back to me in a week to organize a face to face interview but haven't heard from them yet and have seen the role re-advertised since so not expecting to hear from them again.
The position sounded interesting but the amateurish recruitment process was a real turn off, if that's how they recruit new staff then one can only imagine how the business runs on a day to day basis.
