I received a cold call to set up an interview. She asked me some preliminary questions before setting up the interview with a manager.
The call was expected to last an hour, but I hung up on him after 20 minutes. He asked me to solve a basic PEMDAS math problem, which I did successfully. However, he claimed I got it wrong. While he was talking, I used three different calculators which showed that I got the question right.
At this point, I knew this was not the role I wanted. He asked me what I would do if I was meeting with a CIO of a company and only had 10 minutes to do research. This was a confusing question so I just gave a generic answer. Then he asked "Is this a sales call?". That's when I told him I'm not interested and hung up.
