I was given an online test. From the moment I saw that a test was coming, I knew bad things were on the way, and I was right. 90 minutes to solve arkane problems completely unrelated to any element of software development anyone outside of MathLab has ever encountered. Heck, I minored in Applied Mathematics and still think this was ridiculous. 20 minutes to find the lattice points both internal and along the circumference of a circle with radius N? Oh sure. I have that queued up in my mind. Heck, it takes 20 minutes for a person to read through the definitions and the formulas, let alone apply them in a development environment for which one is wholly unfamiliar.
Absolute waste of time.
