I applied online. I interviewed at Virgin Mobile (Ottawa, ON) in Jun 2025
Interview
The interview process was tricky and confusing, as it was done automatically, online, through recorded videos and AI messages. It was thus, obviously, quite clunky and unnatural. There was no room for "flow" or follow-up questions or elaboration.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked me a lot of the usual questions, primarily questions about things I struggle with and my previous experience.
I went through an online course, an interview with HR, an interview with a manager, and finally an interview with a manager with their manager. It was a lengthy process taking about 31 days to complete.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Virgin Mobile (Halifax, NS) in Feb 2020
Interview
The interview I attended was straightforward and professional, focused on clear and direct communication. The interviewers asked specific and relevant questions to better understand my qualifications without unnecessary repetition of resume contents. The setting was ideal for maintaining confidentiality, being both private and easily accessible, which made the overall experience efficient and comfortable. Their approach demonstrated respect for both my time and theirs, aligning well with professional standards. Such an atmosphere allowed for a focused discussion on my suitability for the role and my potential contributions to the organization
