I applied in-person. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Roseville, CA) in Nov 2014
Interview
Group interview with about five other girls. Very easy questions, mostly about customer service experience, what makes you a good candidate to work at VS, why you like VS and what draws you to the company, what position would you like to work (Cashier, Pink Girl, Bra Fit Specialist, Stock) although that did not matter later because they put you where they need you, Where do you see yourself in 5 years, Describe yourself, etc. Basic Retail questions. Wear all black because that is their dress code
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
