I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Newport News, VA) in Nov 2011
Interview
There was a group interview of about 6 women and myself. The questions were very generic, such as name the type of car you would buy if money was not an option. Other questions were... have you ever been fitted for a bra at Victoria Secret... and describe yourself using one word.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
