There are 3 stages to interviews at the company: 1. Meeting with Talent Specialist. 2. Meeting with the hiring manager. 3. Technical interview. Offer if successful with all 3 stages.

I applied for the job through linked in and was contacted for a phone interview the next day, the phone interview went well after which I had another interview with the manager I was going to be working with which also went well. I was given three tasks to be completed within eight hours. I completed the tasks and submitted within the stipulated time after which another interview was scheduled. Thats where things got really weird. First of all, the interviewer kept asking me if I googled when completing the tasks and to explain every line of code making me believe that he was not expecting someone with my background to be able to answer the questions. Then he tried to manipulate a question to make it look like I did not answer the question correctly. Another one of the interviewers asked me what negative feedback have i received in the past to which I answered after which she commented in a condescending way that she was not expecting an answer. A few days later I was told that they decided to move with another person and when I asked why, I was told that though I was technically strong, they decided to try someone else. Even more strange a few hours later, the same job posting pops up on my linked in page posted around the same time I was sent a rejection mail.
