Just one phone call interview. Other people in my cohort had additional rounds of interviews. I had a lot of previous experience so maybe that's why. The USAJobs hiring process overall can be long and confusing, but it's worth it.

Give us an example of a time you had to provide emotional support to someone.
Very straight forward - the processed moved forward quickly. My interview was via phone call and lasted 30 mm minutes. Very informative. A decision was made rather quickly. The good thing is they let you know the outcome within days.
Standard behavioral interview process. Refered on 11/29. Interviewed on 12/13. TO processed on 3/7. Start date 3/27. Onboarding process takes some time. IT support for issuance of equipment is hit or miss depending on your local VA.
