I recently had an interview with Verto, and unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst interview experiences I've ever had. Initially, everything seemed okay, but the HR department kept changing the interview times, sometimes just five minutes before the scheduled start, which was somewhat understandable. The first two rounds of interviews went smoothly, following a typical interview process. However, things took a turn for the worse during the final rounds of interviews.
I was asked to complete a lengthy assessment, with the understanding that there would be follow-up questions during the last interview with the founder. I was looking forward to this as it was the final round of interviews. However, the founder's conduct was extremely disappointing. He didn't even ask for my name or greet me properly, and to make matters worse, he conducted the interview while riding in an Uber. The interview kept breaking up due to the poor connection, and he didn't ask me any questions related to the assessment I had worked on.
Following this disrespectful interview, I was asked to complete an online test again, only to be ghosted by the company afterward. I'm sharing this experience to prevent others from wasting their time like I did. It was a complete waste of time, and the hours spent on this interview could have been better utilized pursuing other opportunities. Overall, I strongly advise against investing any time with this company.
