I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Vertafore (Bothell, WA) in Mar 2014
Interview
Five interviews with multiple channel managers. Ensure you talk about enterprise SaaS sales you have worked on. Insurance knowledge very helpful to work for Vertafore. At one point, you come onsite, to Denver, where their HQ is now.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vertafore in Jan 2022
Interview
There is a online test and 2- 30 minute interviews. The second interview is with the team. After the second interview, I was ghosted, which I think is common with this company.
The interviews aren’t difficult, but lack of communication is annoying. A standard HR form letter stating the company has moved in a different direction would be decent. However I’m not shocked, as I read other reviews and comments about them.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Vertafore in Oct 2020
Interview
Having to take the entry test is ridiculous especially when it has absolutely nothing to do with the wok you will bring doing. It is essentially a mini SAT. One test proves nothing.

Question 1
Very average low level questions. What is your previous experience with this work. Where do you see yourself in 5 years, etc.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vertafore (Denver, CO) in Jan 2017
Interview
One of the best processes I've ever been through. Recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and from day one I could tell she cared and was invested in my success.
They had me apply online then sent me an online assessment that consisted of a lot of basic algebra, puzzle type questions, and vocabulary. After completing this, I took the assessment once more, this time over video chat so they could verify I was the one who had taken it the first time. I did well and the recruiter continued to express how happy she was for me and I how I would be a great fit (honestly, I have never met a nicer person to go through this process with). The next day, I interviewed with who would become my direct supervisor/boss.
This interview was nerve-wracking as it was the first time speaking with someone at the company besides my recruiter and I really, really wanted the job. The interview itself was enjoyable but my nerves kind of made me go into default interview mode. I made it through and honestly at the end I was not sure I had made the impression I wanted to, however, the recruiter called me less than five minutes after it ended saying that he really liked me and to expect an email with an offer letter and benefits shortly after!
The whole thing took exactly two weeks!
