I’m not even sure where to begin. The entire process was an absolute disaster from HRs perspective. From being invited to round 2 and 3 after I had already completed them, to receiving a call about why I’m not at the interview (they forgot to send out the invite) the process included everything bad about an HR process. I even received a rejection email and then a call a day later saying I got the same position. I had a total of maybe 8 rounds because after I went through the process with one team I then got pushed to another team. Normally it would be around 5 rounds. The only reason I eventually accepted the position was because I liked the team and hoped that the process was just an outlier.
Overall it was pretty straight forward and easy. No case studies or anything, just behavioral questions and going over the resume. I would suggest, however, to have the rounds in one day and not do so many rounds with always the same interview. I do appreciate that Verisk is one of the few companies that when they say they will keep your resume on file, they actually use it. I met several people that didn’t get an offer for the position they applied to but were offered another position with a different team.
