I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Verance Management Group
Interview
Asked no questions, very odd and unprofessional. They were hosting a job fair it looked like as there were at least 10 other people there for the same interview all at the same time. “CEO” of the company did the interviews and barely asked any questions.

Interview
There was a brief preliminary phone interview. That's when I got invited back for a first round interview, which only took about 15 minutes. From there I was invited back for a second round interview, which was about an hour. During that interview the manager was very transparent about what a typical day looked like with the company as well as the built-in growth opportunity to be a manager.

Interview
The interview process was awful. The office is in a run down old warehouse in the middle of nowhere. I came out on a National Holiday for an interview. I was able to meet with the "CEO" for 15 minutes. When I asked what my daily duties would be, she said, well that is really a question if you make it to the second round of interviews. Well, how am I supposed to want to make it to the second round if you cannot tell me what my job is going to look like. I did make it to the second round and they expected me to be able to come out the next day at 9am. Luckily I already knew that I was absolutely not going to be working here after the awful interview, but I had a job and they weren't going to flexible with scheduling a second interview. The "CEO" is also rude and unprofessional and a snob. Do not interview here and do not work here. They do not tell you on the website, but this is for a Sales Job at the Home Depot in which their products happen to be. To start with them you would be working on the floor at Home Depot. There is nothing wrong with working at Home Depot, but that is not mentioned in the job description anywhere. This company is a scam and a huge waste of my time.

Dear interviewee, we apologize that you did not have good experience with our interview process. Our office is closed on all holidays so we think you are mistaking us with another company since we do not conduct any business on National Holidays. Our office is located right off the main highway so it is very convenient for our employees. We make it very clear during our phone screening that the first interview is preliminary. Our CEO does go over the job responsibilities during the first interview so we apologize if there was any misunderstanding or anything was unclear. Our receptionist is always flexible with scheduling for candidates that have busy schedules. Our CEO is very professional and hard working so we are confused about why you think she is a rude, unprofessional snob. We have a confidentiality agreement with our clients so by law we are not able to put the names of our clients in our job ads. Feel free to email us with any additional questions or concerns at hr@verancemanagementgroup.com.
