Velv Software Developer interview questions

The first interview went great, they talked all about the company, the project, and so on. After that interview, I've received a pre-proposal, and accepted it. Waited for weeks on a response from them, but got none, had to go talk to the recruiting team one by one, to get some feedback. On the 4th person, they told me the client didn't want to contract anyone for now, and that my CV would be saved in their database for later use, in case any project comes up. Fast-forward to recently, I've receive a contact from someone inside the recruiting team, talking about a project that I'm interested, and have the profile to fill, and after showing interest in it, he says I've already talked with a colleague of his in the previous month, which never happened, and the last contact I had was last year.
