Worst Interview Experience Ever Completely Unfair for a Fresher Role
Rating: âââââ (1/5)
This was by far the most exhausting, unprofessional, and unfair interview process I have ever experienced especially considering this was for a fresher-level role and I have only around 4 months of experience.
I had already seen several negative reviews about this company but still decided to attend the interview hoping it would be different. Unfortunately, my experience matched exactly what others had warned about.
Endless Interview Process
Day 1 (Saturday):
The interview started at 10:00 AM and went on till 7:00 PM, without any proper breaks or lunch.
The so-called interview included:
Written test
Aptitude round
Multiple DSA rounds
7 SQL queries
Additional DSA questions
For a fresher role, the difficulty level and number of rounds were completely unreasonable.
After this, I was assigned a Full Stack Book Management System.
During development:
Requirements kept changing
UI fixes and extra features were continuously added
All requested changes were implemented
At the end of the day, I was asked to:
Rebuild the backend by switching from MongoDB to MySQL and resubmit.
Day 2 â Late Night Pressure
The next day, the interview continued from 5:30 PM to 11:00 PM.
This round included:
9 SQL queries
Another full stack project (StudentâBook Issue & Return system)
Live API development
UI integration and debugging
Throughout this session:
Constant interruptions while coding
High-pressure live debugging
No breaks, even during late-night hours
After completing everything, I was told the interviewer was still ânot satisfiedâ and I was asked to come again on Saturday for yet another full stack task.
At this point, it clearly felt like free project work, not a legitimate hiring process.
Serious Red Flags
Extremely long interview hours
Multiple unpaid full stack projects
Unrealistic expectations for freshers
No respect for candidate time or health
No clear evaluation or closure
Final Warning to Candidates
For a fresher with just 4 months of experience, this process was mentally and physically draining. Interviews should evaluate potential not push candidates to breaking point.
Additional Serious Concerns
Another alarming aspect was learning about the companyâs employment terms:
Employment bond requirementsof 2 LPA
Demand for submission of original documents
For a fresher-level role, these conditions are extremely concerning and raise serious red flags. Such terms create an environment where employees can feel trapped and powerless, which strongly points toward exploitation rather than growth.
When combined with an exhausting and disrespectful interview process, it becomes clear why the company has consistently negative reviews regarding work culture and employee treatment.
If leadership with many years of experience still cannot fairly evaluate a candidate within one or two structured interview rounds, it reflects deeper issues in judgment, process, and workplace culture
Final Warning to Freshers
Freshers should be extremely careful before joining. Low pay, bonds, original document submission, and toxic hiring behavior are major warning signs. Once inside such a system, it can become very difficult to leave.
Pros: There is lot of Cons
Cons:
Unprofessional interview process, excessive unpaid assignments, unrealistic expectations, poor communication, no closure.
