I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Veeva Systems (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2022
Interview
Repetitive phone calls with the same person, and a case study based on their current operations. Then more interviews with the same person. Only one our of 5 interviews was with someone else. Once they really liked me, they asked me if I was interviewing elsewhere and I honestly said yes, then they told me if I'm not sure about Veeva I shouldn't apply and I should decline the other offer in a very long lecture style interview. So I told them Veeva was my first choice and I'd be happy to join them. They asked me for references without even discussing salary. So when I asked what salary I should expect, they immediately told me they're no longer interested! Luckily, I didn't decline the other offer, which turned out to be far better experience than Veeva.
It doesn't seem like there is a clear organizational structure when it comes to their marketing and social media SOPs. A casual conversation for the first round of interviews, but it felt like they were trying to learn industry knowledge from me rather than discover if i'm a good candidate to hire. I chose not to continue in the interview process.
