Very rigorous. I went through five rounds of interviews including meetings with all of the members of the team, CSO, head of HR, and a presentation to the heads of all scientific teams and the CEO. Despite them telling me I was a top candidate, I did not ultimately get the job.

Great team/experience! All interviews done by zoom, good communication and quick follow-up. Overall, the process was efficient and transparent. One challenge, interviewing remotely, candidates may miss out in seeing what office culture is like. Personally, seeing what the energy is like in the office is very important.

I applied online and was later invited to have a phone interview. As someone currently employed, I carefully reviewed my schedule to find a time when I knew I would be available and could step out of my office for a call. After waiting 10 minutes I was rather annoyed and emailed the interviewer (not given a phone number). He claimed he called me multiple times and that it went straight to voicemail. Even if that is true, leave a voicemail. He offered to reschedule but I took the lack of punctuality as an indicator of problems ahead if I eventually took the job and decided to look elsewhere.
