I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Varsity Tutors (White Plains, NY) in Mar 2016
Interview
The interview was easy and the interviewer was pleasant. I applied online and within half an hour was given a link to choose an interview time. The interviewer at the end of the interview said I did well and that I will get an email in a couple of days confirming my second interview date. But after 3 days I got an email saying my skills/ availability do not match their requirements. There is no way to contact them to ask what suddenly went wrong. They mainly asked about my previous experience and questioned me on elementary and middle school math concepts.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
How would you explain the difference between odd and even number to a kid?
I applied online and then they set up an interview with me. The interviewer's questions were straightforward and I also got to ask questions about the job. There was clear follow up on the next steps in the interview process.

There was no interview process. We just got offer letters and I think its because they are still starting and up and all. But I think its a great opportunity to learn and teach.
