      Enterprise Engineer Interview

      28 Aug 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Varrow

      Interview

The process was 4 total phone calls and one face-to-face. The initial screening was fairly straight-forward, with questions about career goals and why was I looking for a job. 20-30 minutes. Very friendly. The second interview was with more of a Solutions Architect guy, doing a cultural/light technical interview to see what I had worked with and whether I would fit in. 45 minutes. Very friendly guy. The third interview was with the hiring manager. It was face-to-face. A fair amount of cultural questions, along with situational stuff. It was pretty thorough. Gave instant feedback at the end of the meeting. Really transparent and nice guy. 1 1/2 hours. The fourth interview was the technical interview with a CCIE type of guy. A plethora of questions in most areas that an mid-level enterprise networking engineer should be familiar with. Nice guy again. 45 minutes to an hour. The last interview was with the COO. It was pretty difficult to schedule. Ended up having a great conversation and he was really easy to talk to. Probably about a 30 minute conversation. The process overall took about 4 weeks.
