There was a brief phone screening and then an in person interview. The interview at the office was relatively casual and over all everyone was friendly and professional. The issue is that they then became incredibly unprofessional after that. First they said they weren't moving forward with my application, because they wanted someone with more experience. Keep in mind that this was an entry level position and they didn't ask for any experience requirements on the job posting. Then they contacted me again a couple weeks later asking to set up another interview since they had changed their mind, which they then canceled a couple days before the interview was supposed to take place. The final straw for me with this company is that they are now sending me spam emails about hourly customer support roles. Varo money doesn't seem to have any respect for applicants' time or skill set, while simultaneously being picky about experience for entry level positions. I would absolutely not recommend interviewing here. You will likely have your time wasted.

The interview process was great! I look forward to working with Varo! The culture and atmosphere was amazing! Happy to be back in finance with a fresh bank to grow with!
