I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Vantaca in Mar 2026
Interview
The Head of Talent Acquisition reached out to me, and the screening call turned into a surprisingly in-depth interrogation about my team's AI and agentic workflow practices, specific tools, strategies, and internal processes. I kept my answers general, but the questions kept pushing for more detail about my current employer's work.
At the end of the call he promised follow-up documents and said he'd reach out to schedule a next-step meeting with the VP of Engineering, but he ghosted instead.
It's hard not to conclude that this was less of a candidate screening and more of a fishing expedition for competitive intelligence. If you have specialized knowledge in AI, go in with your guard up!

Question 1
Lots of questions about how we structure our workflows to make use of agents and agent teams, how my team uses it, what we plan to do for the next couple quarters et cetera.
