I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Vans
Interview
Hiring process is pretty straightforward. You get one interview with the DM then an interview with another store manager in your area. It only took a few days to hear back and get the offer sheet in. My DM is really laid back and hes easy to talk to, so it wasnt that nerve wracking.

Question 1
They ask you what your most difficult time dealing with a customer was/is, how you handled it. Pretty standard question, the follow up question of how you feel you did really threw me though.
It wasn’t anything crazy. They just ask you what your knowledge on the company is and why you wanna work there, your job experience it is pretty simple. Yup yup
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Vans (Charlotte, NC) in May 2024
Interview
Very simple, it is easier to get manager positions if you are already within the company or if you started as a sales associate and/or sales lead. Be confident and ready to answer any questions regarding your strengths and weaknesses, give examples of times where you've used your strengths to help other associates They are very focused on sales and KPI's so it's good to bring up how you will bring new ideas to the management team that can help the store excel.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Vans (Santa Rosa, CA) in Jan 2024
Interview
Very smooth and professionally executed, the managers were friendly and asked interesting questions. We met in the food court as the back room was full of recently received stock. The entire process was under 30 minutes.
