I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Philadelphia, PA)
Interview
The interview was mostly behavioral. Questions were pretty standard and not difficult at all. Vanguard mostly wants to see that you are the correct fit for their company. Know your resume, research the company and culture and show that you are a team player than you will most likely do well.
Simple process. Went through Drexel with the co-op program. One phone call and then one in person interview with direct manager and then a week later received the offer. Pretty straight forward. Great company and good people.
The process spanned 3 rounds. First was resume and technical questions. Second was coding DSA and regressions. Third was research questions. Overall people were very nice, the process went smooth and fairly quickly.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Vanguard
Interview
Very chill, just behavior questions. Asked me about my communication style, what courses/knowledge of data science/machine learning that I had. Why I wanted to work in finance. It was very enjoyable/conversational.
