I applied through university. I interviewed at Vanguard
Interview
The questions were pretty generic. The interviewer asked me about my previous work experience. Most of the questions were along the lines of "Tell me about a time when..". I felt pretty uncomfortable throughout the interview because I'm used to the interviewer being open and friendly, but this one was very formal and critical. I thought it went awful, but I ended up getting a call back.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you had a disagreement with a coworker
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Vanguard (Phoenix, AZ) in Sept 2023
Interview
One phone interview with behavioral and technical questions. Technical questions were specifically about vanguard and their portfolio. The interview was not very personable and the technical questions were hard in my experience.
Smooth process, reasonably friendly throughout. Didn't really stress too much about it. Very big on culture and making sure you are the right fit for the firm. I would recommend speaking to current crew beforehand.

Question 1
How do you handle difficult managers? Why do you want to work in finance?
I applied through university. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Vanguard (Malvern, PA) in Oct 2022
Interview
Was pretty straightforward like every other finance interview process. I would recommend studying up on the company, and knowing basic financial questions. Overall a good experience if you have a compassionate recruiter.
