Question 1
How is your prior experience related to the assignment?
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Vanderlande Industries (Veghel) in Apr 2026
Interview
The application sent from myworkday. They called for an interview face to face. 3 days later I got the offer. Overall the application process went very smooth. The Interview went really informative.
Initial screening call with recruiter lasted around 30 minutes, followed by a one-hour interview with hiring manager and HR Advisor.During the second interview, the questions were competency based and fairly challenging, where I often had to think carefully about my answer. I have hearing difficulties and therefore use a transcript on my computer to fully understand questions. To my surprise, I received feedback a few hours later to say that they would not be progressing with my application. Rather than giving me any constructive feedback, they accused me of reading off a screen during the interview and even went as far as to say my answers appeared inauthentic as a result. While I should probably be flattered that my answers sounded so fluent that I must be reading off a device, it was unfortunate they made this assumption instead of asking me. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking to apply for a job.
